Medha has successfully converted a wide range of diesel buses in various configurations, including rear-engine and front-engine models, to zero emission battery electric vehicles. These conversions have delivered significant benefits in terms of emissions reduction, lower operating costs, and reduced maintenance expenses.
The Deccan Auto diesel bus featured in this case study has logged over 50,000 km in passenger service, achieving an average power consumption rate of approximately 1 kWh per km.
