Emission targets are forcing airports to significantly reduce CO2 emissions. The electrification of tarmac vehicles plays an important role in meeting these regulations. The battery electric solution provided by Medha will be powering 40 tarmac buses in Bangalore airport of which 9 are already in operation. These buses operate 22hrs a day with a short period for recharging. LTO batteries are thus used for achieving fast charging and capturing braking regeneration effectively.

Battery Electric buses with Medha technology is operational in over 15 countries in different parts Europe, North America and Asia.
