Diesel to Battery Hybrid Conversion Kit

Medha provides a comprehensive kit for conversion of existing Diesel locomotives to Hybrid Battery-Diesel. While doing the conversion the sizing of the components is done so that the converted vehicle either has same or better traction curve as the Diesel. The hybrid vehicles can operate in zero emission mode when needed. It allows up to 30% reduction in fuel consumption and reduces maintenance costs by up to 50%. The vehicle can also be equipped with pantograph to allow opportunistic charging when traversing through electrified routes
