Medha provides comprehensive design and build solutions for Electric Tender cars for various locomotive operational needs.
Electric Tender Cars is a unique solution of enabling a conventional Diesel Electric locomotive to operate either in its traditional Diesel mode, or switch to a purely electric mode, either powered by batteries in the tender car or through overhead power source or both.
Electric Tender Car can be attached to existing locomotive with some necessary modifications to connect the tender car so that the locomotive becomes an Electric locomotive and the same rollingstock can be used as Diesel locomotive.
