Overview
Medha’s MINS is an indigenously designed and developed high-performance MEMS-based Inertial Navigation System. It integrates a high-precision Inertial Measurement Unit with an enhanced onboard Extended Kalman Filter to provide accurate attitude, heading and navigation estimates.
The system supports both single-antenna and dual-antenna GNSS operation. Its dual-antenna GNSS compass mode provides enhanced heading accuracy and reliability, particularly in static and low-dynamic conditions.
Designed for demanding operational environments, the system features automatic alignment without mounting-orientation restrictions. External odometer and barometer aiding can also be incorporated to improve navigation performance when GNSS signals are unavailable or degraded.
